The KAKC team was represented by two committee members: Siddy Jepkirui (Executive Chair), and Patrick Lomadi (Secretary).
The purpose of the visit was to donate hospital equipment to rural health Centre.
The equipment that were donated are as follows;
- 2 oxygen tanks and their regulators
- a suctioning machine
- 2 glucometers and strips,
- 4 Delivery packs
- Nebulizer machine plus accessories
- latex gloves,
- Surgical masks and face shields.
All the key stakeholders attended the meeting: The area chief representing the national government, the County government of Nandi officers led by the Ministry of health
representative, The board members of Chepkemel Heath center and the villagers.
The community and officials from the health center were grateful to KAKC for the donations and
the health center staff cited that they had been motivated by the donations hence, there
customer service is going to improve. They however cited a water problem where by, they have
a water tank but the pipes and pump.
